Racing Secretary

The Racing Secretary is an office based position, providing a vital link to the teams working on the stable yard.

Administrative duties combine with liaising with owners and trainers, organising race day requirements as well as managing pool money and other bonuses associated with the yard.

This is an ideal position for someone who has a love of horses and the outdoors but also has good organisational skills. They must be a self-starter, work well with others, have good communication skills and understands the importance of attention to detail.

Many combine work with pleasure, riding out in the morning before heading into the office.

Race Secretaries are expected to work weekends and bank holidays due to the nature of the sport.
