12 Days of Christmas
To celebrate Christmas this year, The Scottish Racing Academy and Scottish Racing are hosting a 12 Days of Christmas Photo Competition. We are looking for photos of all things racing, whether that be horses, yards or even the scenery where you are!
Submissions are to be sent to lachlan@scottishracingacademy.scot by the 12th December and then we will start to announce the winners! There are a variety of prizes on offer, some will keep you warm and some may be a fun day out…

1 – The promoters are:
The Scottish Racing Academy (Registered Charity No. SC049584) whose registered office is at The Scottish Racing Academy, C/O The Racecourse, Golf Course Rd, Kelso TD5 7SX
Scottish Racing, c/o Hamilton Park Racecourse, Bothwell Road, Hamilton, ML3 0DW
2 – The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom only. Employees of The Scottish Racing Academy, Scottish Racing, and anyone otherwise connected with the judging of the competition are exempt.
3 – There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
4 – By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5 – Route to entry and details are via the Scottish Racing Academy and Scottish Racing Social Media channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
6 – Only one entry will be accepted per person, per giveaway.
7 – Closing date for entry will be Thursday 12th December 2024
8 – No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows
9- The promoters reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
10 – The promoters is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
11 – Prizes are as seen and promoted on social media. They are non-transferable, and no cash or alternative options are available. Prizes are subject to availability, and the promoters reserve the right to substitute any prize with one of equivalent value without notice.
12 – The winners will be chosen at random from all entries received and verified by Promoters and/or its agents.
13 – The winners will be notified via email and/or on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or TikTok by 17:00 GMT on the day of the giveaway. Winners must respond with their address/relevant details to claim their prize within 21 days. Failure to respond may result in forfeiture of the prize, and a replacement winner may be chosen.
14 – The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
15 – The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16 – By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
17 – The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
18 – The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

20 – Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
21 – This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook, Instagram, or any other social network. Entrants provide their information to The Scottish Racing Academy and Scottish Racing, not to any third party.
22 – The Scottish Racing Academy and Scottish Racing will decide on the winner each day, using a random picker, which will be picked at random from all complete entries via social media.
24 – The Scottish Racing Academy and Scottish Racing’s decisions as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
25 – The entrant must be following The Scottish Racing Academy on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter in order to enter.
26 – The Scottish Racing Academy and Scottish Racing shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
27 – The Scottish Racing Academy and Scottish Racing also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
